  • Bleaching (types of) Purigen

    Hi

I've been recharging Purigen with no issues using Clorox Original. I purchase Springtime Bleach from Costco and checked out the MSDS to see what was in it and it says in addition to Sodium Hypochlorite, that's there is also Sodium Hydroxide

So I then check out Clorox Original, and that also has Sodium Hydroxide. Then looking at Clorox Regular it Clorox Disinfecting, they have no Sodium Hydroxide

So I have unknowingly been using a product now with NaOH in for a year, but now I'm aware, should I be using it or does using Safe/Prime manage the Alkali out of the recharged Purigen

    Thanks

    Mark
