    Every planted tank is different and will require different dosing schedules, however, iron is a very important micro nutrient that helps plants to produce chlorophyll. When iron is lacking, you will notice chlorosis or yellowing of the younger leaves. I would recommend to bump up your dosing to 2-3 times a week and see how the plants are doing after that. If you still notice any deficiency symptoms, you can continue to slowly increase your dosing until they are showing no symptoms of iron deficiency.

    How often should I dose Seachem Iron for my 30 gallon long tank? It's pretty heavily planted. I have been injecting 3mL with a syringe (because I find it to be most accurate) once a week for the past 2 weeks. Should I be dosing more often?
